SMART SHADING

Smart shading, is an intelligent, automated system for controlling blinds, roller shutters, awnings, venetian blinds, and even curtains. It goes far beyond simple remote control, aiming to optimize comfort, energy efficiency, privacy, and security within a building. Here's a detailed look at what smart shading offers.

SUN POSITION TRACKING : Based on the position of the sun, building orientation, location and time of the day. It then automatically adjusts the blinds to slats to block direct sunlight (preventing overheating and glare) while still allowing as much natural light as possible into the room.

TEMPERATURE INTEGRATION : It works in conjunction with the Climate Control system - heating and cooling system. In summer, shades might close to prevent heat gain, reducing the need for air conditioning. In winter, they might open to allow passive solar heating, reducing heating costs. This feature contributes significant Energy Savings.

TIME BASED SCHEDULES : Shades can be programmed to open or close at specific times, aligning with daily routines (e.g., wake-up, bedtime, working hours).
